A few weeks ago we visited and Animal Safari Park down in New Braunfels, TX. There was a petting zoo area as well as a long stretch that you could drive through in your vehicle and see wild animals up close and personal. The girls weren't feeling very brave... It took a while to coax them into petting the goats (and even then, we could only get them to pet the baby goats). The girls loved the drive through part of the experience (almost as much as their dad)... we had buffalo, elk, and all kinds of other animals eating right out of our hands. There was also a bunch a ostrich throughout the park... they were sticking their heads inside of people's vehicles to eat their food so we had a "windows up" policy whenever they passed by... we attached a cute video of Megan where she got excited by a passing ostrich.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I live in New Braunfels and have only been to it one time! We had alot of fun, though. I'm sure we'll do it again when the weather is cooler.
