Sea World

The Nixon Family Reunion was the week of the 4th of July. Everyone came here to Texas for the week and boy did we have fun! It was exhausting! Renae and her 4 kids came first. We went to Austin Park and Pizza, the swimming pool, a reptile show and more. Then on Saturday Jeff (Renae's husband) and my parents and Reed all came. The next day Raelene's family (6 kids!)came and finally Kent and Kayla flew in on Tuesday. The only ones who couldn't come were Rob and Katie which was a major bummer!

I had 25 people staying at my house! It was awesome. On Monday, we packed up and went to the Alamo, then we took a boat ride on the riverwalk (thanks mom & dad!!) and got an awesome tour of everything. After that we were ready to eat and mom and dad treated us to a nice dinner at the Rainforest Cafe on the Riverwalk! By the time we were done with that, it was late and we were tired. We went to a hotel and unpacked to get ready for Schliterbahn the next day.

We got up early and left for the day. After the park closed we all went back to the hotel and ordered lots of HUGE pizzas to eat (thanks again mom & dad!!!!!). To say the least, w got to bed late, only to get up early again the next morning to go to Sea World. We were there all day and after the park closed we all went to Rudy's! We had to show all of my family our favorite place to eat!

Anyway, the next day we went back to Schliterbahn (my cousins all met us there this time!) and stayed for the whole day again. After the park closed this day, we went to Mamacitas, one of our favorite tex mex restaurants in New Braunfels. My cousins came and stayed at the same hotel as we did so after we put thee kids to bed we were able to stay up and chat more (not too smart since we were so tired).

Of course if we did Schliterbahn 2 days, then we had to do Sea World for 2 days, so on Friday we went back to Sea World. It poured on us!! We drove home, went to Double Dave's Pizza (memories) for dinner. Then we drove to the Dell Diamond for fireworks.

The next day Jeff and Renae, Kent and Kayla, and Mark and Raelene all left!! What a busy trip!! That night we got a babysitter and went to the Melting Pot with my Mom and Dad and Reed. YUMMY! They left the next day and we were all SO sad to have everyone go.
