When we signed up for our new electricity provider we were given a free 2-night stay in San Antonio, so we cashed it in and went for with the kids! During Christmas time DELL closes for 1 week and we love that! We love going to the zoo and had never been to the San Antonio zoo before (and heard it was a great one!) so we went. We absolutely loved it! It was so much fun just hanging out for the day and seeing all of the many animals. The kids were able to do crafts, play with toys, look at animals and so much more! It was really neat that while we were there the zoo was doing a Hippo feeding! Perfect for our family since we live in Hutto and our mascot is the Hippo! It was really awesome and we loved being up close and personal with those amazing animals.
Josh was super excited about the beautiful colors of a tiny bird. The best part was how excited he got about getting so close to it! Josh is always fascinated with birds (and nature in general) - it's fun!! We had a wonderful time!
