Coloring Easter Eggs

Family night fun before Easter means coloring Easter eggs! The girls look forward to this every year! We all love eating the hard boiled eggs and especially egg salad sandwiches so I usually make quite a few. It makes it a lot of fun to be able to color a lot of eggs too. This year we bought a coloring kit with so many colors! I have never seen one like it before. There were even two different shades of blue! We put the tablecloth down and the girls went at it. There were so many colors that the girls didn't have to wait a long time for a color that they wanted to try. It was great! We put their initial on the eggs that they dyed so they would be able to find those eggs during the hunt...that sure made it easy. After the eggs were dyed the girls put stickers on the eggs and we put those plastic things that you blow-dry onto them. It was a fun night. Of course ending with family night treat always makes FHE a hit! Yummy cookies!
