Inner Space Caverns

While the grandparents were here we decided to go and check out Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown. It is really pretty close to our house but we've never been able to go. This was the first cave the girls have been in and they thought it was pretty cool. It was a long walk going all the way in and out so they were pretty tired but it was a good memory and a good experience. Probably the coolest part of the whole thing was seeing a bat up close. It was just chillin' on one of the ceilings of the cave where it wasn't too high so we were able to get a good look at it. Annalise said that was her favorite part. The girls loved the visitors center seeing all of the cool rocks and all of the neat things they had their. Ally even found a cute little owl that we bought for her teacher who just adores owls. Jake was pretty fussy so I had to hang out in the back of the pack to feed him. Let me say that trying to nurse a baby while walking on a tour is a bit tricky. Josh was sweet and stayed behind with me so I wouldn't be alone. When I was done feeding Jake Josh walked with him in the Baby Bjorn. By the time we were done Josh needed help getting Jake out of the carrier because he was so stiff! Poor guy! The sacrifices we make for our children!! haha It was a good memory and it's always fun to do new and different things when company comes to visit!
