The Seussical Musical

The 1st graders performed a Seussical Musical this year for their end of the year performance. It was too cute! Each child had their own part and their own hand made costume! It was really cute! Ally's teacher put so much work into it and it really paid off. Ally was chosen to be one of the singers. She came home with a cd and some sheet music that she practiced and practiced. Ally's teacher told me how to do her hair (it turned out so cute!) and I got her ready and she couldn't wait to get to the school. Once she was there she put on her costume and had her make-up done and was all ready to go. The show began and we looked and looked for Ally. We couldn't see her and wondered when she would come out. There were so many kids! Finally at the end of the show she came out with 2 other girls. They were the finale of the show!! They all stood around the microphone and one of the girls began singing the song. The next verse it was Ally's turn and she sang all by herself in front of everyone SO well! She didn't even act nervous at all! The last girl took a turn and then they all sang together. When we were practicing at home I thought that all 3 girls would be singing together the whole time so Josh and I were so surprised! We were SO proud of her and it was just so awesome to watch! Lots of people came up to her after wards and told her what a great job she did. It was so great! I could've never done that at her age! She is just so awesome!
