Hawaii

What a dream! In January my brother and his wife Katie invited us to join them on an awesome trip to Hawaii (the big island)! It was so much fun! We were able to experience so many neat things while we were there. We stayed with Katie's parents in the "Presidential Suite!" It was almost the size of our house! We had our own section of the suite with a king size bed, Jacuzzi tub and of course our own full sauna!! haha It was incredible. In the living area there was a grand piano, a dining table to fit at least 12 people and the list goes on and on. Like I said before...what a dream!

While we were there we went on a helicopter ride and saw flowing lava into the ocean as well as waterfalls and some beautiful countryside. We also went on a night time manta ray dive. There were snorkelers on the top of the water and scuba divers on the bottom. The scuba divers would shine their lights up and the snorkelers would shine their lights down so we could see the enormous manta rays swimming in between us! They were the size of Hummers! They got so close and it was just incredible (too bad Josh and I were super sea sick that night!).

We also went to the ocean and went snorkeling there where we swam next to giant sea turtles and we went kayaking in the hotel’s lagoon where we watched a bunch of flying fish shoot up from the water into the air. We went to some yummy restaurants including Huggos- our absolute favorite! We drove around the island quite a bit going from place to place and we had such a great time with Rob and Katie! We were spoiled and were so grateful that Josh's mom could come out and watch our girls while we were gone! I recommend Hawaii any day.
